Appointments

calendarMost patients are seen by appointment.  You may consult any of the Doctors in the Practice, but it is advisable to keep seeing the same Doctor during any one period of illness.

To make an appointment please telephone 01786 841213 during opening times (8.30am - 6.00pm Mon - Fri) and our Reception Staff will assist.  Appointments are for one person only and additional appointments should be made for more than one person.  We aim to offer an appointment with a Doctor within two working days and with the Doctor of your choice within five working days.  We try to keep to appointment times, but some problems take longer than expected and you may have to wait; we hope you will understand.  Please attend your appointment at the arranged time.  If you cannot attend for your appointment, please let us know so that it can be offered to someone else.  GP appointments can also be booked online and are available for morning and afternoon clinics - please ask at reception for information on how to register for this service.(online appointment booking suspended)

Urgent Appointments

Urgent problems can be seen on the same day, but not always by the Doctor of your choice.  Please co-operate with the Receptionist if you are asked for details in order to assess priority.  Emergencies take priority at all times.

Extend Hours: Early morning and evening Clinic Appointments

We have a few late evening and early morning appointments available for those patients who are unable to come to the Health Centre during the day.  This is NOT a walk-in service.  If you require urgent or emergency care then this will be at MIU, NHS24 or A&E.

Please see the receptionist for details.

Internet Appointment Booking Facility

Online morning and afternoon appointments with a GP are available for routine consultations only.  Please see the receptionist who will register you for this service.

PLEASE NOTE WHEN BOOKING ONLINE APPOINTMENTS: 15 minute appointments for routine matters only, no coil/contraceptive implant or minor surgery appointments as these take longer than a routine appointment.  Thank you.
